Summer is winding down. A little too quickly. Winter seems to last S…O……..L….O….N…G here on the East Coast and then summer flies by in the blink of an eye. Well, we do have a few more weeks of it anyway and I plan on enjoying every warm, light-filled moment. Along with the passing of summer comes later sunrises and earlier sunsets. So soon I will be back to shooting these daily, magnificent gifts-from-God more frequently. The darkening oranges and golds of a sunset envelop me in a comforting embrace. It feels like a hug from God. And in that awe-inspiring moment, all is right with the world. There are no worries, no schedules, no rushing. For a few breaths, you are in synch with nature and realize how much more there is to this world than just us and the little bubbles in which we live. We are in synch with everyone else who took the time to pause and admire at the same moment.
